Some distances are small, some are big; some distances are measured by miles, and some by hopes and fears. Through opera, musical theater, and popular songs, Cantanti Project goes on a musical journey about the excitement of new adventures, the strength it takes to pursue your dreams, and the importance of finding a place where you belong.

Artists: Angela Dixon, Brittany Fowler, Tara Gruszkiewicz, Jane Hoffman, Aumna Iqbal, Mary Kathryn Monday, Rebecca Richardson, Joyce Yin, and pianist William Lewis

Featuring music from Carmen, Lakmé, Peter Pan, Beauty and the Beast, and favorites such as "Somewhere over the Rainbow" and "Besame Mucho."

Presented by the United Palace of Cultural Arts as part of their Lobby Series and as part of the Uptown Arts Stroll organized by the Northern Manhattan Arts Alliance.
